Arranging your stay

From your first contact with us through to the completion of your treatment in Spain, Ms Brigitta Moser will be your expert point of contact and will provide you with support whenever you need it. We will accompany you – step by step – throughout your treatment.

First steps

When you contact us, Ms Brigitta Moser will discuss your needs and wishes with you and is available to answer all your questions about egg donation in Spain. You will receive a registration form for your first visit to Spain, as well as information on egg donation. Please return to us the completed registration form for the first visit and include a copy of your preliminary examination reports.

Arranging your first consultation

If egg donation is a viable option for you we recommend a first consultation, which would give you the opportunity to meet the specialist team and get to know the area in Alicante. The specialist treating you at IVF Spain will explain the process to you in detail and answer any questions you may still have. We will arrange your first visit in Alicante for a date that suits you. We can also help you with your accommodation and flight bookings. On arrival in Alicante you will be met at the airport and driven directly to the clinic or your hotel. After a detailed consultation and a standard gynaecological examination, the specialist treating you will provide you with a treatment plan individually tailored to your needs.

Making the decision

After you have returned to Switzerland you can take as much time as you need to make your decision on the treatment with IVF Spain. Of course, you can come to us with your questions at any time.

Arranging the egg donation

If you have decided for egg donation, you will contact Ms Moser at SWIXMED again. After discussing the treatment with IVF Spain, Ms Moser will put together a cost estimate, based on your treatment plan and your individual wishes. Once again, take your time to consider this. We are available to answer your questions at any time and will be glad to help.

On your agreement we will make the definitive arrangements for your treatment with IVF Spain in Alicante. Please set aside two weeks for your stay in Spain. We will also be happy to help you in organising your flights, accommodation and local transport for you and those accompanying you.

On the whole, the treatment in Spain can be begun approximately three months after the definitive treatment booking.

Confirming your registration

In order to finalise your registration, we will need confirmation of payment for the full amount of the cost estimate for your medical treatment and any additional services that you have requested.

After your treatment

We will be pleased to hear from you after your treatment has been completed and to find out whether it was successful. On completion of your treatment you will receive a cost summary and final invoice. If requested we will pass on to you all medical reports and any other documents relating to your treatment in Spain.
